Information on previous ultra-runs

Listed in the sub-headings of this section are descriptions of previous races:

1. The Spartathlon races 2005 and 2006. Further information on the race can be found on the links page and photos section of the website. This is one of the toughest continuous ultra-races, with competitors having to complete the 254 Km race from Athens to Spart in under 36 hours.

2. The grand Union Canal Race 2005. Further information on the race can be found on the links page and photos section of the website. This is a 145 mile race along the Grand Union Canal from Gas St, Birmingham to Little Venice, Paddington. It is the UK's longest continuous ultra-race along some of britain's most beautiful countrside. It is fantastic event and superbly organsied by a dedicated team of volunteers.

3. Land's End to John O'Groats Run (LEJOG), 2002. Further information on the race can be found on the links page and photos section of the website. This was a sponsored run from Land's End to John O'Groats in may 2002 in support of the charity Dreams Come True. The run took approximately 28 days covering approximately 1000 miles. The record for the run is now down to less than 10 days I believe and the cycling record under 24 hours!
